Where to stay in Corfu || Fiori Hotel

This year, I visited Corfu island for the first time. Me and my blogger bestie Katarina stayed there from the last of August until 7th September, and for a few days of our trip, we also stayed in Fiori Hotel. If you want to learn more about the hotel and are thinking to book it for your vacation, read on or check their website for more.

Fiori Hotel is a family-run hotel based in Corfu that was first opened in 2002 and has been improving ever since. It is named after Mrs Fiori, owner of the property and mother of Mr Panos that now runs the hotel, along with his lovely wife, Mrs Afrodite, that first greeted us at the resort.

The hotel is located in the Gouvia area of the island Corfu, just 1.5km from Dassia beach and only ten minutes away from Corfu Town. It is an ideal place for a relaxed and peaceful vacation, best for couples and young families. The reception desk is available 24/7, offering general information about the island, bus timetables, car rental, cruise trips and more.

The easiest way to get to Fiori Hotel from the Corfu airport is by taxi, that the Assistant manager Mrs Irene can arrange for you through e-mail and will cost you around 30€. You can also rent a car that you will be able to pick.up directly at the airport.

The cheapest way to get there are the Green and Blue buses. Firstly, you'll need to take the Blue bus number 15 at the airport that will take you to the bus station San Rocco square Corfu town. Then you'll need to take a Green bus at the main station, line Corfu - Paleokastritsa, and tell the driver you're stepping off at Fiori Hotel in Tzavros, Gouvia. There will be two hotel signs on your left and about 150 metres ahead, there's the main entrance to the property.

The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a big pool that offers sun beds and a playground area. There is also a pool bar, where you can get yourself a refreshing drink, delicious lunch or just a little snack. All of the rooms are air-conditioned, very spacious and each of them has a private bathroom, TV and radio, mini fridge and a furnished balcony, over-looking the swimming pool and the garden.

My make-up essentials while travelling are Bell Hypoallergenic products that you can find at bodizenska.si.
